LLMWhisperer Application

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application LLMWhisperer ("Application") for mobile and desktop devices and for web browsers that was created by LLMWhisperer. The Application is activated via uploading or taking pictures of documents and returns processed text, markdown, or other formatted output.

LLMWhisperer's technology works off of images or documents you take with your camera or files you upload into the Application. We will request permissions to use camera on your device. Additionally, we may ask for permission to access files on your device. We do not share your documents or personal data with third party processors unless access is required in order to perform our service.

User Provided Information

The Application obtains the information you provide when you register for a LLMWhisperer account. When you register with us and use the Application, you will provide (a) your email address and password; (b) whether or not you allow LLMWhisperer to use your documents to improve the LLMWhisperer recognition engine (c) transaction-related information, such as credit card information, when you make purchases or respond to any offers; (d) information you provide us when you contact us directly for support; (e) information you enter into our system when using the Application, such as contact information.

We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application may collect the following information automatically: the type of mobile or desktop device you use, the IP address of your mobile or desktop device, your mobile or desktop operating system, the type of mobile or desktop Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application. No other information is collected from your device.

Opt-out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application or deactivating your account. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile or desktop device. You can deactivate your account in your account settings. You can also request to opt-out or account deactivation via email to llmwhisper@gmail.com.

You can stop collection of documents processed from your installed Applications for QA purposes by simply unchecking the box next to the account setting that reads "LLMWhisperer can use my documents to improve their OCR technology" in your account settings.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 30 days and thereafter may store it in aggregate.

Individual documents can be deleted from our database by deleting them in your Application. This action is irreversible as we do not keep backups or copies of your document information. Please note that URLs of deleted documents may take up to 10 minutes to become invalid after the deletion.

If you'd like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at llmwhisper@gmail.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Third Party Processors

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
if LLMWhisperer is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.

Collection of Real-time Location Information

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile or desktop device, but it does collect IP addresses to protect against spamming.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at llmwhisper@gmail.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing," means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored under United States privacy standards.

LLMWhisperer API Service

This privacy policy governs your use of the API service LLMWhisperer API ("Service") for use in mobile and desktop devices and web applications. The Service is accessed via an API request containing documents or images to the LLMWhisperer servers, and returns processed text, markdown, or other formatted output or an error message.

LLMWhisperer's technology works off of documents and images sent from your API key. We do not share documents or images sent from your API key or any confidential information with third party processors unless access is required in order to perform our Service.

Customer Provided Information

The Service obtains the information you provide when sending an API request. This information usually includes, but is not limited to (a) a document, image or batch of documents/images; (b) authentication information; (c) desired formats; (d) other request specific parameters.

Automatically Collected Information

The Service may collect end-user IP address information automatically, unless Customer has explicitly opted out of this collection for Privacy reasons. IP address information is only collected for the purpose of protecting LLMWhisperer against any attacks on our servers by your end-users.

If you have opted out of automatic collection of end-user IP addresses by LLMWhisperer, please be aware that by Agreeing to our Terms & Conditions you agree to not hold LLMWhisperer liable for any potential damages caused by interrupted service to your API key in the event of an attack on our servers.

Opt-out Rights

By default, we collect information like requests and responses for QA purposes. You can opt-out of any documents or images being saved to disk for QA purposes from your API key by setting the improve_service flag in your API requests to false. If your improve_service flag is set to true (the default), you are giving LLMWhisperer permission to use your documents and images for QA purposes. Please note that setting this flag to false also means that you will not be able to visualize your requests in your dashboard.

You can stop all collection of information by the Service by cancelling your LLMWhisperer API account in your account settings. Please be aware that this action is irreversible.

Stripe Advisory

We use Stripe for payment, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including for fraud detection. Your Consent

By using the Service, you are consenting to our processing of information sent from your API key as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored under United States privacy standards.

Third Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to provide and improve our Services:

Clerk for authentication, user management, and multifactor verification.
Stripe for secure payments and invoicing.
Google Cloud Platform and other infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, and email delivery.
Service providers who assist with analytics, security monitoring, and customer support under strict confidentiality agreements.

International Transfers

We store data in the United States and may transfer information to other jurisdictions where our subprocessors operate. When transferring personal data outside of the European Economic Area we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your Rights

If you are located in the EU, UK, or another region with similar laws, you may have the right to:

Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
Port your data to another provider.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
